Auslan Storytime

Auslan Storytime is a free, inclusive program held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at the State Library Victoria. It features Deaf storytellers from Expression Australia who bring stories to life using Australian Sign Language (Auslan). The sessions are designed for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing children, providing authentic language modelling and an introduction to Deaf culture. A qualified Auslan interpreter is present to support hearing participants, ensuring an engaging experience for all families.
