About

Yan Yean Reservoir Park is Parks Victoria’s picnic and walking park at Victoria’s oldest water supply, 32 km north of Melbourne on Recreation Road off Arthurs Creek Road. Electric barbecues, rotundas, picnic tables, toilets with parenting amenities (northern toilets wheelchair accessible), a playground near the Valve House and wetland birdwatching are on offer. The park is open daily 7am–5pm, and 7am–8pm during daylight saving. Stay out of the closed water-supply catchment. Do not use OSM’s northern park centroid; the visitor entrance is the Recreation Road site on Whittlesea’s map.
