About

Williamstown Beach is a wide sandy Port Phillip Bay beach on the Hobsons Bay Coastal Trail, with summer lifeguards and views across the bay. Toilets, showers, dining, sealed paths and parks sit opposite the sand. Williamstown Beach Station is about a 10-minute walk; metered parking runs along The Esplanade. In summer, beach wheelchairs and walking frames are free to hire on weekends from noon to 5pm via council’s accessible-beach booking. Botanic Gardens and the coastal trail are nearby.
