Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary is a working sanctuary for rescued wildlife needing lifetime care and breed-for-release rewilding programs for endangered animals. Set on a Heritage-listed Aboriginal Cultural landscape with ancient sites dating back more than 4,000 years, families can meet free-roaming kangaroos, emus, koalas and dingoes, join daily ranger talks and feedings, explore the Animal Loop and bush tracks, or relax at the Visitor Centre with a coffee. The sanctuary is open every day of the year.
