Rough surf and strong currents. No.1 is the only patrolled surf beach in Cape Liptrap Coastal Park (typically December–April). Check BeachSafe.
Dogs
Seasonal dog rules between Venus Bay No.1 and No.5: on-lead generally, but 1 Dec–31 Mar dogs only before 9am and after 6pm.
