Sunnyside Park Reserve’s playground is fenced on the northern side of the oval. Shade, a basketball half-court and parking support visitors; sporting areas may be occupied by school use.

Shared grounds and facility hire
School and sporting use can occupy the grounds. Tennis, pavilion and reserve hire have separate arrangements. Register for the council’s Reserve Manager system to hire facilities; this is separate from an ordinary playground visit.
