Sugarloaf Reservoir Park is a Parks Victoria park in the Christmas Hills, with bushwalking, picnic areas and reservoir views. It is open 8:30am–5pm, and until 7pm during daylight saving. Check Parks Victoria for closure notices before visiting.

Park conditions
The park is currently marked closed and has additional visitor advice and reported issues. Check current conditions before travelling.
Picnic and barbecue facilities
Ridge Picnic Area has two double hotplate gas barbecues under shelter. Saddle Dam Picnic Area does not have barbecue facilities.
Bring home rubbish
Bins are not provided, so visitors need to take rubbish home for recycling and disposal.
Pets and wildlife
Dogs and pets are not permitted. Do not feed native wildlife; plants, animals, archaeological and historical features are protected.
Reservoir safety and fishing
Do not wade in the water, use burley or clean fish in the reservoir. Shoreline fishing is limited to designated areas during park hours, and a Victorian Amateur Fishing Licence is required.
Sailing and watercraft
Appropriate watercraft may be launched only through the Sugarloaf Sailing and Boating Club on Sundays and public holidays; call (03) 9434 5360. A launching fee may apply, and some watercraft types are not permitted.
Fire restrictions
No fires, including barbecues, may be lit on days of Total Fire Ban.
Accessibility
Saddle Dam Picnic Area, Southern Lookout, Western Lookout and Ridge Picnic Area have accessibility information and photos available. Assistance dogs are welcome.
