About

Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park is a Parks Victoria coastal park at Williamstown’s tip, with Timeball Tower, Bay Trail walking and cycling, Shelley Beach bird habitat and the Dolphin Playground at Quarry Picnic Area. Access is via Battery Road, with car parks by the tower and the western picnic area. The Bay Trail is wheelchair and pram accessible; toilets are at Quarry Picnic Area. Hobsons Bay points visitors to Parks Victoria for maps. Glass is not allowed at Hanmer Street picnic shelter; dogs are not allowed at playgrounds.

Good to know

Access is via Battery Road. Car parks around Timeball Tower (east) and Quarry Picnic Area / Dolphin Playground (west).
