The Old Treasury Building, designed by architect JJ Clark, was constructed to store gold bullion during Victoria's gold rush in the 1850s. It now features a collection of historic documents and hosts exhibitions reflecting Melbourne's history. Public tours are available on the last Sunday of each month, with fees applicable. The building is open to visitors from 10am to 4pm, except on Saturdays.
