Mentone Beach is Kingston’s northern bayside foreshore, with the Bay Trail, Mentone Life Saving Club showers and toilets, a playground, picnic tables, barbecues and an outdoor gym. Council maps the site on Beach Road and lists accessible paths, parking and toilets. A popular dog beach is part of this foreshore. The club has patrolled here since the 1920s. Use the playground and trail if the water is not right for a swim.
