Kings Domain covers parkland from Linlithgow Avenue south to Domain Road, including grounds around the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the area facing Domain Road beside the Shrine of Remembrance Reserve. City of Melbourne sets it aside as 1840s parkland within the Domain Parklands. Families use the lawns and tree cover for a picnic or a walk between the city and the Botanic Gardens.
