The Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden is a nature-play space inside Melbourne Gardens, designed for children to climb, crawl and explore plants, textures and changing landscapes. Enter through Observatory Gate on Birdwood Avenue. The garden ordinarily opens Wednesday to Sunday and daily during Victorian school and public holidays, but it is closed for winter until 6 September 2026.
