Fishermans Beach is Torquay's accessible beach hub, run by the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority. Beach matting and wheelchair hire make the foreshore easier to enjoy for families with mobility needs. The beach itself isn't recommended for swimming, so families should head to the nearby patrolled Torquay beaches for water entry.

Beach access matting (installed early December to mid-April), DDA-compliant ramp, accessible parking, accessible toilet about 300m away, portable hoist (2 business days notice), and Liberty Swing (key via info@greatoceanroadauthority.vic.gov.au).

Fishermans Beach is not patrolled and is not recommended for swimming or water entry. Use nearby patrolled Torquay beaches during patrol times (Beachsafe).
