About
Featherdale sits on Kildare Road in Doonside, a short hop from Blacktown. Families can spend a couple of hours walking through kangaroo and wallaby habitats, visiting koalas, and stepping into the lorikeet aviary. Paths are flat and paved, with toilets, parents’ rooms, a cafe and picnic spots. Buy tickets online or at the gate; last entry is 4pm and the park closes at 5pm, including public holidays.

Opening and last entry
Open 8am–5pm every day, including public holidays. Last ticket sales at 4pm. Christmas Day is 8am–2pm, last entry 1pm. Walk-through enclosures and several facilities close at 4pm on regular days.
Getting there
217 Kildare Road, Doonside NSW 2767. Free parking is available at the entrance, with overflow parking adjacent. Bus 729 from Blacktown Station stops at the gates.
Companion Card
Up to two support workers or companions enter free when the guest presents a valid Companion Card on arrival.
Assistance dogs
Submit the park’s Assistance Dogs Registration Form at least 72 hours before visiting.
