About

Eastern Park is a 185-acre heritage park on the edge of central Geelong, with conifer avenues, historic carriageways, walking and cycling routes, picnic areas and sporting fields. Families can use the Geelong Playspace playground and open lawns, and connect toward the waterfront. Historic mineral springs and off-leash dog areas are signed on site. Geelong Botanic Gardens sit within the broader parklands as a separate visit if you want that destination too. Free parking is available around Garden Street, East Geelong.
