Brighton’s 96 heritage bathing boxes stand on Dendy Beach, a sheltered cove off The Esplanade. Families come to see the privately owned boxes from the sand, build sandcastles and swim in the bay, with Middle Brighton Pier a short walk away. Visitors cannot enter the boxes. Paid parking is near Brighton Beach Lifesaving Club and Green Point. Brighton Beach and Middle Brighton stations on the Sandringham line are the closest trains; buses 600, 922 and 923 also stop at Brighton Beach.
