Black Rock Beach
Picnic foreshore and seawall path at Black Rock
Black Rock
About
Black Rock Beach sits below the bluff beside Black Rock Surf Life Saving Club, with deeper water that council says suits capable swimmers. It is a popular picnic foreshore with parking, a playground and easy access to the seawall path. Volunteer lifesavers patrol on weekends and holidays in summer. Stay between the flags when patrols are on, and use the playground and picnic areas if younger children are not entering the deeper water.
What you'll experience
