The Goulburn Historic Waterworks is a preserved facility from the 1880s featuring a pumphouse and a working steam beam engine, located by the Wollondilly River. It is the only complete steam-powered municipal water supply in its original location in the Southern Hemisphere, recognized for its national significance and protected by a conservation order. Visitors can enjoy tours, see historical machinery in operation, and have picnics by the river.
